آٹھ ارب 28 کروڑ روپے کے رمضان ریلیف پیکیج پر یکم اپریل سے عمل در آمد شروع ہوگا۔ یوٹیلیٹی اسٹورز پر 19 اشیائے ضروریہ پر 20 فیصد تک سبسڈی دی جائے گی۔رمضان المبارک کے دوران عوام کو اشیائے خورونوش کی سستے داموں فراہمی کیلئے 8 ارب 28 کروڑ روپے کے رمضان ریلیف پیکیج کو حتمی شکل دیدی گئی۔یوٹیلیٹی اسٹورزحکام کے مطابق آٹا،چینی،گھی سمیت 19 اشیائے ضروریہ پر 20 فیصد تک رعایت دی جائے گی۔اس کے علاوہ 20 کلو آٹا 950 روپے،چینی 85 روپے، گھی 260 روپے کلو میں ہی دستیاب ہوگا۔ مارکیٹ ریٹ کے مقابلے میں آٹے پر 222 روپے، گھی پر 110 روپے جبکہ چینی پر تقریبا 2 روپے فی کلو سبسڈی برقرار رکھی جائے گی۔دالیں اور چاول بھی مارکیٹ ریٹ سے 15 سے 20 روپے فی کلو سستے ملیں گے۔رمضان ریلیف پیکیج کے تحت ملک بھرمیں تقریبا4 ہزاریوٹیلیٹی اسٹورز پر کوکنگ آئل،کھجوریں،بیسن،سفید چنا، پیکٹ والا دودھ، مشروبات، چائے اور مصالحوں پر بھی سبسڈی ملے گی۔یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ 1500 دیگر اشیا پر10فیصد تک رعایت دی جائے گی جبکہ احساس پروگرام کے تحت رجسٹرڈ افراد کو آٹا، چینی اور گھی سمیت 3 اشیا پر مبنی راشن پر 1 ہزار روپے ماہانہ سبسڈی دی جائے گی

Helen heard a cry for help. As she neared the river, the cry grew louder. A small crowd gathered at the iced edge. Looking out, she could see a child had broken through the ice into the freezing water. Man Pays Bills with Spirits of Ancestors

Anchorage, AK -18 Feb. 2009- Staff. Utilities workers had to trek through frigid and icy conditions to a remote hillside 20 miles outside of Anchorage to settle Herman Moses’ account. While they deal with delinquent accounts on a regular basis, the workers were lost for words when Moses offered them sevearal of his dead relatives as payment. The Anchorage police department eventually resolved the situation, but not before Moses insisted on his bizarre proposal for several hours.  Moses’ power and water bills, which hadn’t been paid in nearly 10 months, were lying in a heap by the door when they arrived, the workers say.
